GSDI 10 in Trinidad to be held 25-29 February 2008 is shaping up to be a great event! It is time to register in order to acquire the best conference registration and travel rates.


GSDI conferences are opportunities to meet and exchange views with others from across the globe about implementing and developing spatial data concepts and practices. From national and international agency and policy-maker perspectives to local grassroots initiatives, GSDI 10 provides an occasion for interaction and cooperation among disciplines and practitioners that use and develop spatial technologies and databases. Keynote and featured speakers will focus primarily on The Role of Spatial Data in Supporting a Sustainable Future as well as Small Island Perspectives on Global Challenges.

GSDI 10 is being held in the modern conference facilities of The University of the West Indies of Trinidad and Tobago. Over 180 paper presenters from 44 countries are scheduled to present in numerous plenary and parallel sessions throughout the five day event as well as 38 poster presenters. Numerous round table discussions, affiliated business meetings, social events, and a full day of no-additional-cost workshops have been organized and scheduled as well.
