A lienzo is a painting on cloth that was used by indigenous peoples in Central America to communicate knowledge. The Lienzo de Quauhquechollan dating from the 1530's tells the story of how the Quauhquecholtecans of central Mexico allied with the Spanish conquistador Jorge de Alvarado to conquer Guatemala.

I just came across a Ministry of Forests website that has maps of Traditional Territory for the First Nations that are within the South Island Forest District. There are up to three versions for each Nation: one with Forest Tenure, one with a hillshade and maybe one of the Statement of Intent.
